Kelvin Davis, Lester Martinez Shine on PROBOX

PROBOX TV Returned Wednesday night from a familiar setting, in Whitesands Events Center, Plant City, Florida. The card was absolutely loaded with world-class prospects, future world champion-type prospects. On the opening bout Kelvin Davis, the 6'1 southpaw, 140-pounder, keeps proving that he is not just the older brother of Oylmpian Keyshawn Davis, but his own man and a prospect tobe reckoned with. He dominated and outclassed a determined by in way over his head Derrick Whitley Jr. He dropped Whitley in the third with a perfectly placed body shot and finished the show in the fourth round with a barrage of well-placed power shots that put Whitley down again, and this time for good. Davis moved his record to 9-0 (6).

In the co-main event, Puerto Rican boxer puncher Najee Lopez who now fights out of Atlanta, Georgia, scored a highly suspicious first round knockdown and knockout of Christopher Brooker, a veteran of 30 fights. A short shot landed right above Brooker's ear and dropped him. Brooker stayed down on one knee and waited till the ref reached 10, and then stoodup immediatley and seemed fine. The KO victory moved his reacord to 7-0 (6).

In the main event, Letser Martinez, of Guatemala was highly impressive in a one sided beatdown of a credible opponent in Lucas de Abreu,

Sao Paulo, Brazil. Martinez was absolutely dominated his man over four one-sided rounds. Martinez absolutely punished de Abreu, and the beat down was functionally over in the 3rd, when de Abreu took a knee for a knockdown after a loaded right hook scored to the temple late in tround three. de Abreu got up on wobbly legs and went down again at the end of the round. The 4th round, prived to be the last. de Abreu took yet another knee after a barage of power shots, and the refereewaived things off at 33 seconds of the 4th.
