With yet another quiet week of boxing in the United States, the UK again delivers for fight fans across the world. Boxing returns to the Matchroom Fight Camp, in Brentwood, Essex, for the second consecutive summer. The main event features Connor Benn the sensational, undefeated blue-chip prospect and son of the legendary former multi-divisional world champion Nigel Benn, in a major step-up fight. Benn puts his 18-0 record on the line against battle-tested American contender Adrian Granados in a 12-round battle for the WBA Continental Welterweight Title. Benn is coming off a one-round destruction of Samuel Vargas. A career-best win in his brief but blossoming career. Granados sports a record of 21-8-3. He has a win over Amir Imam but also has close and controversial losses to the likes of Shawn Porter, Adrien Broner, and Robert Easter Jr he also has a 2013 draw with former world champion Kermit Cintron.
